This summers graduation season is different from previous years. Almost all of the students stayed at home and took classes online to stick to their studies and progress towards graduation. Although we are sometimes depressed and anxious during the epidemic, the teacher still accompanies everyone in front of the computer screen.

Miss Mochizuki from Japan also ended his study abroad life in Beijing. These days are an extremely unusual time for her. Once we met every day, once we skied and had dinner together, but suddenly she faced her life in school alone. Talking about online classes at home, her feeling is: Although online classes cannot meet and communicate with the teacher, they also gave her a lot of spiritual support and battery life during this extraordinary period.

The online class prevents her from stopping her studies. She strives to follow the teacher to learn HSK related knowledge, does the questions carefully to maintain her sense of language, and improves her writing ability through continuous practice. The content of oral topics has also migrated from the dialogues and texts in the books to all aspects of life, such as variety shows, beauty makeup, current affairs news, film and television dramas, etc., which sparked a lot of knowledge. Since most of her courses are conducted online, she, who was originally shy about the camera and screen, gradually got used to this method and even liked video chat.

At the same time, Miss Mochizuki also excitedly expressed that she is a fan of BC Radio, and she particularly likes the issue of "The Special Meaning of Numbers", she is very interested in the expressions such as 666 and 250.

In addition to studying, she also discovered her hobbies and regained the things she liked doing in the past, such as riding a bicycle, doing puzzles, watching kitten videos, etc. From her, we can feel that she has overcome many difficulties.

When Miss Mochizuki went to visit the teachers at BC Mandarin School after many months, she felt both happy and fresh. She also hopes that in the future there will be more opportunities for face-to-face communication with Chinese people in Beijing, and once again return to the place that helps her persist in learning Chinese. At the same time, she also said that she will continue to learn Chinese after studying abroad.

Let us wish her a smooth new life in Beijing and become aold China hand as soon as possible!
