On the afternoon of Saturday, August 15, 2020, BC Mandarin School held the first online graduation ceremony. Although this year's epidemic has delayed many activities and plans, BC Mandarin School insisted on holding the ceremony for graduates and we all witnessed their unforgettable time of studying abroad.

This year, some students continued to take online courses, and still kept in touch with teachers, but it is still rare for everyone to gather together.

The teachers were moved and full of emotions. From very beginner to passing HSK6 and assisting in Chinese work, the teachers accompanied the students to climb one peak after another.

Teachers and students recalled the memory of their study and life together. Mr. Matsuyama expressed his gratitude to the teachers and BC Mandarin School for their warm help in life, such as some problems he had difficulty handling with the Chinese app.

Ms. Matsunaga showed a special notebook that recorded the idioms that the teachers said unintentionally, such as "用梳子梳头发comb her hair with a comb", these common sentences in daily life. The teachers praised her for her seriousness and diligence.

This year’s graduate Ms. Mochizuki also invited a colleague, Mr. Yonezaki who graduated last year. The teachers were pleasantly surprised. He said that he felt the enthusiasm of Chinese drinking style for a year after working. Fortunately, he had already trained in drinking and persuading alcohol at BC Mandarin School.

Some graduates also express their feelings through FaceTime. Everyone hopes to return to China as soon as possible. Dean Tiger warmly welcomes everyone to come back to "home" to make up for the regret of not being drunk at the online graduation ceremony.

BC Mandarin School wishes all graduates a future filled with success and joy of seeing your dreams come true.
