2020 is destined to be an extraordinary year. This year we have sent away the haze of the epidemic, but the spread and repetition of the global epidemic directly affected the number of international students coming to China. Therefore, when other industries recovered, we did not usher in a lively new semester.

However, in the spring days when working from home, the teachers of BC Mandarin School continue to develop online courses and teaching resources, actively coordinate time, overcome global time difference, and provide students with rich and efficient immersive classrooms.

Despite the storm of layoffs sweeping the world, BC Mandarin School insists on not laying off staff, guaranteeing benefits, stabilizing wages and insurance. We know that the stability of employees’ wages is the basis for a stable family.

Under the leadership of the dean, the teachers worked together to overcome the difficulties. In 2021, BC Mandarin School will continue to adhere to the original aspiration of education, open a new layout for the new year, and lead all teachers to meet new challenges!

Looking back on the ups and downs of 2020, BC Mandarin School is always actively and optimistically responding to market crises and accelerating innovation and transformation.

For example, BC Mandarin School was commissioned by Sichuan International Studies University to customize a "summer camp for comprehensive ability training" to guide and pass on practical experience. In addition, the School of International Cultural Exchange of Renmin University of China cooperated with BC Mandarin School to establish an off-campus practice base to promote school-enterprise cooperation and resource sharing.

We not only strengthen exchanges of teaching and research with universities, but also maintain close relationships with students. For example, hold online graduation ceremonies to review every bit of life studying abroad. Another example is organizing study tours to the Forbidden City, visiting the special exhibition for the 600th anniversary of the Forbidden City, inviting freshmen and their families to learn about history and culture.

In winter, we organize one-day skiing tours to let Japanese business students and their families experience the enthusiasm of China's ice and snow sports. On the last day of 2020, we will organize a New Year's Eve party at the Hilton Hotel to provide a warm and lively gathering for foreign friends in Beijing. The holiday is no longer alone!
