Although 2021 is coming to an end, the teaching and research team of BC Mandarin School is still in high spirits. In addition to the daily lectures, they were invited to attend two thematic academic seminars for two consecutive weekends, with a total of more than 24 group discussions, which lasted more than 34 hours.


As a language training center, BC Mandarin School has always given top priority to teaching and research. It has actively participated in various academic exchanges over the years and maintained advanced teaching concepts in theory and professionalism, which greatly promoted the practical teaching process to be profound and simple, and assisted foreign students to achieve their learning goals with high efficiency and quality. Although the market environment of TCSL training is not optimistic, for example, some institutions have lowered the threshold for teachers to enter the profession in order to cut costs, BC Mandarin School always maintains its original aspiration and firmly believes that teachers, textbooks and teaching are the foundation of the school.

November 13 and 14, 2021, Renmin University of China- School of Chinese Studies and Cultural Exchange organized "the Fifth Chinese Learning Dictionary Academic Seminar", including topics like "Adhere to the ‘User-centric’ principle", "to Reflect Chinese Characteristics and Cultural Interpretation in the Dictionary".They expand a unique perspective for the BC teachers. On this academic exchange platform, the excellent reports of well-known experts, with foresight and foresight, from macro to micro, from theory to practice, point out the direction for the compilation and research of Chinese learning dictionaries in the future.

From November 20 to 21, 2021, the BC teachers had a great harvest at “the 12th  Conference of Asia-pacific Consortium on Teaching Chinese as an International Language ”. After the meeting of "Demand Characteristics of High-quality Development of International Chinese Education", BC teachers expressed that they would actively keep pace with the times and constantly improve their skills to meet the current and future requirements for Chinese teachers.

During the two seminars,BC teachers had a basic understanding of the new HSK test questions, and will speed up the update of HSK tutoring courses, so that BC students can get scientific and systematic guidance as soon as possible.
