Ms. Hakuyama has lived in Beijing since the second half of 2021. She used to live in Shanghai and has a basic knowledge of Chinese. However, she still decided to continue to study Chinese in BC Mandarin School and set the goal of passing HSK band 6.

In January 2022, she passed HSK level 6. It is worth noting that her listening score is the highest in listening, reading and writing, which is very rare for Japanese learners, who are generally better at reading.

Ms.Hakuyama's outstanding achievements are inseparable from her warm, cheerful and communicative personality. Although she lives near Liangmaqiao, she still takes the subway to the Wudaokou campus of BC Mandarin School and has lunch with teachers after class. She also sat down with Chinese people at china-japan gatherings and talked with them actively, which greatly improved her oral Chinese. Of course, this is also thanks to BC Mandarin School's experienced Chinese language teachers.
