On May 22, we participated in a tour and test drive experience at BYD. This visit took us to the flagship store of BYD’s most luxurious series, "Yangwang."

At the store, we saw the U7 and U8 models, and were even fortunate enough to glimpse the supercar U9. It was a truly special and rare opportunity.

In the test drive segment, we experienced the SUV model U8. Whether tackling a 45-degree slope, navigating stair-like roads, or driving on mountain paths, the U8 performed exceptionally well. Even on complex road conditions, its automated control system assisted the driver in passing through safely. What truly amazed me was how effortlessly it could be handled, even by drivers with average skills.

We were also given a special look at the U9. This high-tech supercar is equipped with many features I had never seen before. With just a tap on the door, it opens automatically. It can even "dance" and "jump," making us feel as though we were watching a performance—utterly fascinating.

BYD offers an extensive range of models, with prices spanning from affordable to high-end, covering sedans, SUVs, sports cars, as well as EVs and PHEVs. It demonstrates a remarkable ability to quickly understand consumer demands and continuously develop new models.

Today, the Chinese automotive market has become one of the largest in the world, with a growing number of people paying attention to the development of Chinese automobiles.

This event gave me a whole new perspective on Chinese automotive technology and sparked a strong interest in BYD. I’m already looking forward to the next BC cultural experience!
